PHILIP DE ROO (1985) APELDOORN Last year we completed a trip that we will never forget! As a team we withstanded pitoraqs, cold and all sort of discomforts where safety was our priority number 1. With immense fun we organised upcoming trip with a great team of people and supporters around us! Just let the trip happen, we are completely ready! Experience it with us! Despite heavy weather, extreme cold, broken materials and our arguments during last year's trip, I think we are perfectly prepared to fulfil our next challenge. I can't wait to leave for Greenland again! JOEP BOVENS (1974) UTRECHT Now that our departure is in sight, the tension grows. We are so busy; work, exercise, preparations, media attention and lots more. Still I can hardly wait until the day that we will first launch our kites on the ice.

Team back in Holland, 2340km in 32 days Oversteek van de ijskap van zuid naar noord Groenland (2500km), mei/juni/juli 2008 In 2008 keert het team terug om een Zuid naar Noord oversteek te maken. Deze route strekt zich uit over een afstand van ruim 2500 km en zal, afhankelijk van de weersomstandigheden, één tot twee maanden in beslag nemen. Ook deze tocht wordt autonoom, dus zonder tussentijdse bevoorrading volbracht. Tijdens deze tocht zal het team gebruik maken van klimaatvriendelijke energiebronnen; biobrandstof om mee te koken en wind- en zonne energie. Het team zal tijdens deze tocht volledig afhankelijk zijn van de wind om progressie te boeken doormiddel van vliegers. Zonder de wind als motor zal het onmogelijk zijn de tocht binnen twee maanden te voltooien.
